We are a mother daughter partnership, continuing with DBA (Doing Business As) Urban Heart Designs under Urban Odyssey Designs LLC. We both work full-time jobs and on our off time fulfill orders and go to events to sell our products.
Get to know Ashley And Christine!
As mentioned in previous introduction, they are operating as a mother & daughter partnership.
Christine raised 3 children on her own, with the help of her mother. She had two boys and one girl (Ashley). Christine wanted something to do when she retired from her career, while she knew Ashley always wanted to own a business. Urban Heart Designs was the perfect opportunity to make both come true. Ashley is raising a teen boy; he often comes to selling events with us. Working a full-time job to support her son. In the upcoming year for 2023, Alice who helped raise Christines 3 children, will be moving back to Arizona from South Carolina. She is our biggest supporter and excited to be part of our projects. When she came down to Arizona in 2022, She had a lot of fun peeling the sticky backings off all the acrylic ornaments after they were cut.
History Of Urban Heart Designs
Jeni Jones was the owner/creative director of Urban Heart Designs. She started the company in 2017 after learning about all of the endless possibilities there are with a laser engraving machine. In November 2021 Urban Heart Designs was sold with an 80w Fusion Pro (48"x36") machine, to Ashley and Christine Smith. We are excited to continue the journey Jeni Jones set out for!
